Progress at the 4th Consortium Partner Meeting

Successful Milestones in Project Work

All work packages are making significant progress:

🔹 Onboard investigations in preparation: The planned onboard investigations will take place between May and June 2025. In addition to installing and validating the sensors, the first tests on the acceptance of the measures by the crew will be carried out.

🔹 App development enters the next phase: The ZfAM has utilized the results of the last workshop to further develop the mini-model. Additionally, the first wireframes for the SeaWell app were presented. The goal is a practical application that provides seafarers with personalized recommendations to improve their health.

🔹 AI for well-being at sea: In an impulse lecture, new approaches for the predictive use of artificial intelligence were presented. A critical reflection on the possible applications of Large Language Models and the processing of sensor data provided an exciting discussion basis for the next development steps.

Strengthening Public Relations

A key topic of the meeting was also the visibility of the project. In this context, the ZfAM published a press release accompanying the launch of the bilingual website ai-healthy-ship.eu. The platform provides comprehensive information on the work packages, project partners, and the latest developments.
